A two-person team from the World Health Organization is traveling to China to address the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic. But according to Science Magazine, the epidemiologist and animal health expert are unlikely to come home with answers. The mystery of the virus’ origins has become a political powder keg and the subject of countless conspiracy theories. Chinese officials have reported conducting tests for SARS-CoV-2 at the Wuhan seafood market but what they found remains sketchy.
Dharavi which is Asia's largest slum area and is home to more than 10 lakh people took efforts to contain spread of COVID-19. Dharavi is located in Mumbai and is spread over an area of 2.5 square kilometres. The first case of coronavirus was reported in Dharavi on April 08 but with combined efforts of locals, doctors and state govt, the pandemic got turned. Speaking to ANI, one of the doctors said, "Dharavi is a slum area and is overcrowded. We have many cases earlier. Doctors of BMC tied up with local doctors. We did try door-to-door screening but was not possible. But then we screened only symptomatic patients." A local said, "Doctors of Dharavi and BMC have helped the patients a lot and that's the situation here is quite good." Once a COVID-19 hotspot, Dharavi has only over 290 active coronavirus cases. World Health Organisation (WHO) also tweeted and praised Dharavi for strong focus on community engagement and COVID-19 testing.
According to CNN Business the hashtag #Goyaway was trending on social media on Friday. This comes after the CEO of Goya Foods, Robert Unanue, appeared in the White House Rose Garden on Thursday, and praised President Donald Trump. Unanue said, "We are all truly blessed ... to have a leader like President Trump who is a builder." Trump, who CNN says has called Mexicans "rapists" and accused them of bringing drugs into the U.S.
U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday he had suggested to some governors to call in the National Guard in the face of mostly peaceful nationwide protests sparked by the death of a black man, George Floyd, in police custody.
US Donald Trump gave a lengthy statement in the Rose Garden at the White House in Washington DC. On the George Floyd protests he said: “Nobody’s ever done for the black community what President Trump is doing. "Hopefully, George is looking down right now and saying this is a great thing happening for our country. It’s great day for him, a great day for everybody. This is great day for everybody."

In the White House Rose Garden on Monday, President Donald Trump threatened to deploy US military troops to stop protests over the death of George Floyd. As Trump made his remarks, a crowd of peaceful protesters was tear-gassed outside of the White House. The tear-gassing was to clear the way for Trump to walk to nearby St. John's church and be photographed in front of it, holding a Bible.
