LSC to meet with county health department to talk about reopening plans

Closer to finalizing plans for the upcomign school year.

Lsc held a meeting today discussing ways to keep all students, faculty and staff safe.

Superintendent les huddle says all the public schools in the county are working together.

But adds each school may have different needs and restrictions.

Lsc is meeting with the tippecanoe county health department on wednesday to seek guidance for how it can open schools safely.

The information could be as simple as follow what came through the state and the in-class and that's okay because then we know we can move forward to the next step.

Huddle says the plan is for lsc schools to start on august 11th, but that could change.

We will follow up with the superintendent after his talk with county health officials.
