She says she been concerned for their safety due to the recent covid-19 outbreak at the minimum security prison.

But now that governor brown could release inmates soon& she hopes her loved one will be out sooner than they thought.

On friday, governor kate brown announced guidelines for the release of inmates.

But oregon legislators say they have a plan too.

They want to release inmates in 3 groups, b and c& based on their vunerability, how long is left on their sentence and if they have housing.

Covid remains a problem for everyone and it is likely to get worst in the fall?

Right now, legislators say they don have a timeline as to when inmates could be released.

But& they say there are nearly 16 hundred inmates being considered for release on a case by case bases..

But now that early release has become a possibility, she hopes it happens sooner than later?

And, now that there 174 confirmed cases of covid-19 in prisons across the state&?it would be great if they started acting on this.

The longer it goes on, the longer it potentially hurt some of the inmates?

Davis says she hopes the governor gets the process going as soon as possible.
