MSDH reports 572 new coronavirus cases, 8 new deaths Monday

The latest on the coronavirus count here in the magnolia state.

The mississippi state department of health reported 572 new cases of the coronavirus.

It's the second straight day mississippi dropped below one thousand.

What we don't know yet is if the lower numbers are because of the weekend or if we're actually seeing a real downturn in the fight against the virus.
