Suspect charged in Oneida Castle homicide

State police have arrested one suspect, and are still searching for another.

Murder.

One man has now been charged with murder...while a scond man is still on the loose.

22-year-old travon golden of canandaigua, out near rochester...is charged with second-degree murder.

Golden is one of the two supsects police believe were involved in the murder of 22-year- old tyler mcbain, who was killed in his home in oneida castle on tuesday.

State police say two suspects fled the scene on seneca avenue in oneida castle around 1:40 tuesday afternoon....in a black suv after mcbain was murdered.

The vehicle was spotted on the thruway, but the driver would not pull over for police, leading troopers on a chase before crashing into a ditch near waterloo.

Police say they captured golden at that crash site...but the second person fled on foot and has still not been found.

Golden is currently in the oneida county jail.
