In order to qualify, you must be eligible for at least 100 dollars per ek in unemployment.

Governor eric holcomb broke it down during today's weekly news conference.

He says the program will help hoosiers struggling with unemployment due to covid-19.

But holcomb says it's a temporary solution.

"they set aside 44 billion dollars so as that is drawn down, that program could end accordingly."

That 44 billion dollars holcomb just mentioned is spread out across all 50 states.

The benefits are retroactive back to august 1st.

Governor holcomb says it will be two to four weeks before it goes into effect.
