- te ... the madison county health department says someone is texting people... telling them they are with the health department and they have tested positive for covid-19.

The health department says it does not tell people through at text that they have tested positive for the virus.

It also says its contact tracing team will never ask for money, a social security number, bank account information, salary information, or credit card numbers in exchange for test information.
