(Part 3 of 4) We talk about some good bubbly ways to celebrate the holidays with friends and family.

You may be staying home for the holidays.

But you can still celebrate family and friends across the miles with some bubbles.

Here's bobbie burgess and uncorked.

Bobbie burgess: we welcome back to uncorked, everyone.

My name's bobbie, and i am your host.

Today, i am with chad hoes from champagne lanson.

You all know i love champagne, and this champagne brand is brand new to mississippi.

So, tell us a little bit about champagne lanson.

Chad hoes: thank you.

And thanks for having us, and having us in mississippi.

Champagne lanson was founded in 1760.

It makes us not the oldest champagne house, but the oldest family owned champagne house.

We've been the official champagne of wimbledon for 47 years, and we have this little thing right here that says the queen likes us.

It's the royal warrant, we got that in 1920.

And we are one of the official purveyors of champagne for the court of england.

And we love it, we think we make champagne in a classic original style, meaning we have a very fresh, crisp fruit- forward style.

Bobbie burgess: if it's good enough for the queen of england, it's good enough for me.

So, let's go ahead and jump into the black fruit, which we just put on by the glass at restaurant tyler.

This one is absolutely delicious.

So, tell me a little bit about it.

Chad hoes: yeah, this is our flagship.

Our winemaker says this is the one that's the hardest for him to make, because every time you open a bottle of this, it needs to taste the same.

It needs to be representative of what we do.

So, this is 50% pinot noir, 35% chardonnay, and 15% monet four years on the lees, meaning it's sat in the cellar for four years.

Eight gram dosage, which means it's right in the middle for sweetness and we call it a brute.

And, if you go back and look at some of the oldest wine lists in the country, you'll see black label.

You'll see it in the longest day, a john wayne movie with robert mitchum.

We'll always have something called the black label.

We've made this since 1947.

Bobbie burgess: okay.

So, all you john wayne fans, you know what to get for all of your holiday seasons coming up.

Bobbie burgess: so, let's move on to the next one, which is my absolute favorite.

One, i love sparkling rose.

I love champagne.

And, if you give me a rose champagne ... because remember, champagne can only come from champagne, france, because it's a region, then i am even more set.

Chad hoes: yeah.

This is also my favorite.

I think my boss thinks all i do is drink this instead of sell it.

Really, the only difference here is, in champagne, you can make pink wine by mixing red and white.

So, that's what we do here.

We add 3% more still red wine here, and it gives it this pale salmon color, lifts the fruit.

It gives it a little bit more weight, and it's absolutely delicious on its own or with food.

Bobbie burgess: yeah.

So, speaking of food options, fried chicken is a huge pairing option for champagne, because the bubbles cut through the oil of the chicken, and it just goes so great.

And you can pair either of these.

I do think that the rose has slightly more floral notes than the brute.

Chad hoes: yeah.

For sure.

Yeah, a little more fruit, a little more floral.

The black label is just an an award winning director takes another
