Tom Charlton, brother of Jack Charlton, and John Stiles, son of Nobby Stiles, describe watching their family suffer the gradual effects of dementia from their football careers as “heart-breaking to watch”.

They are disappointed more isn’t being done to educate players of the long term effects heading a football can have on their future cognitive health.
