Tax info was 'put into public voluntarily by Nadhim Zahawi'

Chris Philp says new facts surrounding the former Chancellor's tax affairs were 'put into the public domain voluntarily by Nadhim Zahawi himself".

The policing minister adds when Rishi Sunak appointed Mr Zahawi as Tory chair "there were no outstanding tax issues".

He also says that the appointment of Richard Sharp as BBC Chair was "ratified" by a parliamentary committee.
