Emma Coronel, the wife of imprisoned Mexican drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, will be freed in Los Angeles on Wednesday following her arrest in 2021 on drug trafficking charges.
Former beauty queen and dual US-Mexico citizen Emma Coronel Aispuro was arrested in 2021 for conspiring to distribute heroin, cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine.
She is being held at Long Beach Residential Reentry Management in California at present, according to US Bureau of Prisons records.
