France Bans Use of Hydroxychloroquine in COVID-19 Treatment Due to Safety Issues

The anti-malaria drug which has previously been called a “game-changer” in battling COVID-19 has taken a turn in a different direction. New studies have shown that hydroxychloroquine’s risks outweigh its benefits, thus, countries have banned its use in treating the disease.
