With 7,240 new cases of Covid-19 having been reported in the last 24 hours, India has seen a spike of nearly 40% in daily infections. ​The country also reported 8 more deaths. India's active caseload currently stands at 32,498, with a rise of 3,641 such cases in 24 hours. The current recovery rate in the country is 98.71%.
