India reports 862 new Covid cases; daily infections lowest in 196 days

India reported 862 new coronavirus infections, the lowest in 196 days, according to Union health ministry data updated on Tuesday. With this, the tally of Covid cases has risen to 4.46 crore. The death toll climbed to 5,28,980 with 3 fatalities which includes two deaths reconciled by Kerala.
