NSA advisor Doval makes a quiet trip to Chennai, calls on governor

The National Security Adviser (NSA), Ajit Doval, paid a low-profile visit to Chennai on Friday night. He stayed at Raj Bhavan and left the following day. According to multiple sources, Doval met with Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi at Raj Bhavan, and the next morning, he headed to Kalpakkam, where the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) is located. Later that day, he returned to Chennai and flew to Mumbai on the Saturday evening.
