Gaston Glock, the Austrian engineer who invented the Glock handgun, died at the age of 94. The Glock is widely used by national security forces, law enforcement officials, criminals, and gun enthusiasts around the world. Glock sales reached over $500 million in 2017, with a 65% market share in the US. Before creating the gun, Glock managed a car-radiator factory and had not handled a gun since his teenage years in Hitler's Wehrmacht.
