Egyptian, Iraqi, Jordanian FMs assemble to arrange trilateral summit of top leaders

(MENAFN) On Monday, Mar. 29 Jordanian and Egyptian foreign ministers reached the Iraqi capital, Baghdad to assemble with their Iraqi counterpart to arrange for a summit projected to bring the top leaders of the three nations together. The three ministers shared outlooks on collaboration amongst the three nations and a number of regional and global matters, noted Iraq's Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein at a joint press meeting after the assembly. Hussein further said: "we discussed various topics, including electricity interconnection and the project of an oil pipeline from the Iraq's oil-hub of Basra to Jordan's port of Aqaba." Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said to the press that they talked about "projects to be implemented by the three countries in the fields of economy, energy, electricity, health, agriculture, industry, food, and construction."
