(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, June 16 (KUNA) -- Iraq declared on Wednesday the approval of establishing Al-Jumaima border crossing with Saudi Arabia.Iraq news agency quoted head of the country's border ports authority Omar Al-Waeli as saying that the authority's council agreed unanimously on opening the new border crossing.The authority specified a plot of land in Al-Muthanna governorate bordering Saudi Arabia to set up the border, he added.Opening the new border will contribute to backing the governorate economically and turning it into a key commercial border with Saudi Arabia, he noted.If Al-Jumaima border is achieved, it will be the second crossing between the two countries after Arar Crossing, which was opened last November.
