Mark Meadows Fails To Appear Before House Select Committee, Risking Contempt of Congress Proceedings

Former United States President Donald Trump's final White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows, did not appear before the House Select Committee responsible for investigating the events of the Jan. 6 Capitol Hill riot. Two members of the committee are considering pursuing contempt of Congress proceedings for Meadows' no-show.
