In 2019, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman told Norah O'Donnell he took "full responsibility" for the murder of Jamal Khashoggi and denied direct involvement. Today, a newly released U.S. intelligence report found MBS approved the operation "to capture or kill" Khashoggi.
