New Migrant Caravan Bound For The U.S. Departs From El Salvador
According to Reuters, at least 150 Salvadoran migrants departed in a group for the United States on Wednesday.
President Donald Trump has used these 'caravans' to build his case for a wall along the U.S.-Mexican border.
The newest caravan organized on social media and is following in the wake of a larger caravan that departed from Honduras this week.
One person said he joined the caravan "because here you can’t live in peace.
I have to run away and hide every day." In 2018, El Salvador's murder rate stood at one of the highest levels in the world.
