SpaceX To Lay Off 755 Positions In LA Headquarters
According to Business Insider, SpaceX is laying off about 10 percent of its workforce.
In a notice the company stated it was eliminating 577 positions at its headquarters in Los Angeles.
Technicians, engineers and machinists make up most of SpaceX’s terminated positions.
CEO Elon Musk said the decision was made to relocate resources into other projects.
One is to develop a reusable launch system and the other is to delpy a global satellite internet network.
