Tesla's Latest General Counsel Resigns After Two Months

According to Automotive News, Tesla's general counsel has resigned after two months on the job,.

Dane Butswinkas was initially brought in to represent Tesla's CEO Elon Musk during a legal dispute with the Securities and Exchange Commission last fall.

Butswinkas plans to return to his legal practice in Washington DC as a trial lawyer.

Although the 57-year-old will return to the firm Williams & Connolly, he expects to continuing working with Tesla as outside counsel.
