Ilhan Omar Says She's Receiving More Death Threats Due to Donald Trump President Trump recently posted a video to Twitter that appeared to show Omar being dismissive of the 2001 terrorist attacks.
The video cut together footage from a speech in which Omar referred to the attacks as “some people did something,” and graphic imagery of the Twin Towers being hit and collapsing.
Omar has accused Trump of attempting to incite violence against her.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has taken steps to ensure Omar’s safety, stating Capitol Police are "conducting a security assessment to safeguard Congresswoman Omar, her family and her staff." Pelosi also called on Trump to remove the "dangerous" video.
