The blaze began Tuesday night, possibly ignited by lightning.

Firefighters from five counties worked to get the fire under control.

The heat was reportedly so intense that it melted some fire engine lights.

Emily York, Jim Beam, via CNN The blaze is being allowed to continue so that less distilled spirits will burn off, making water source pollution less likely.

A Jim Beam spokesperson said the fire "will not impact the availability of Jim Beam for consumers."
