Your morning news now... today marks 18- years since the september 11th terrorist attacks.

Nearly three- thousand people were killed that day in 2001.

There will be ceremonies today at the pentagon ... at ground zero' in new york city ... as well as in shanksville, pennsylvania.

The list of la crosse police chief' candidates is down to three names... and all three of them are already with the department.

They are also all police captains.

Shawn kudron... jason melby... and daniel kloss will all be interviewed for the position of chief of police' later this month.

The final decision is up to members of the police and fire commission.'
