Local stores all across acadiana have been doing their best to adhere to covid 19 restrictions...one supermarket is making adjustments to their store to ensure social distancing...news 1's leigha mcneil has the details now joining a long list of retailers strides to promote social distancing in promote amidst the covid-19 restrictions walmart announcing on their corporate website...starting april 4th all stores will be regulating entry allowing no more than 5 customers per 1,000 square feet...meaning about 15 to 20 people will be allowed to shop at one time...this announcement causing many to flock to the superstore to get their last minute items before the new rules are enforced sot: "this does't make any sense, there no social distancing what so ever."

One shopper who wanted to remain anonymous says they did't even go into the store because of how packed the parking lot was..sot: "it does't make any sense there is no social distancing what so ever."

Though walmart is enacting these restrictions...dr. tina stefanski still warns about taking extra precaution when you shopsot: "i think the govoror said try to only go once a week do't go everyday because yo're bored."

Sot: some of these individuals the only place they go is to the grocery store just again restrict the amount of times you leave the house to only when it absolutely necessary because some people are only going when its necessary and they might be the person that you expose.
