Georgia Army National Guard delivers food across Middle Georgia

Also new tonight, the georgia army national guard is still serving residents in middle georgia during the covid-19 outbreak.

The national guard is working with 25 local agencies and churches... to feed those impacted by covid-19.

They have three trucks that go throughout middle georgia.... delivering about 40 pounds of food a day.

One cadet says... she began helping the food bank last month.

And it feels good... knowing she's helping out.

"honored, just to hep this people because im from actually from a small town called mcrae georgia and we have distributed food to telfair county.
