Three Tippecanoe County schools have pushed their start dates back.

Department is ready to help our schools through it.

This includes lafayette, west lafayette and tippecanoe county schools.

All three districts moved in unison, pushing their start day back to august 20-th.

Several school districts in indiana, who have already reopened, have seen positive cases in both students and staff.

County health officer dr. jeremy adler says he is confident in the plans the three districts have put together.

"it's going to be challenging, it's really difficult to predict what's going to happen.

We are going to take things one day at a time and if problems arise we will address those" dr. adler says they are still waiting on guidance from the indiana high school athletic association.

This is regarding what will happen with fall sports at the k through 12 level.

Many local organizations are stepping up to help those
