The kentucky high school athletic assocaition meeting today.

For the first time in months...fall sporst were only a small part of the discussion.

For football, commissioner julian tackett calling out a couple schools in southcentral kentucky.

He didn't call them out by name but did say the fact they're ignoring covid-19 guidelines could lead to them getting shutdown.

The main topic...winter sports.

The board approved a timeline for high school basketball to return.

Practice beginning october 26th and games to begin november 23rd.

That competition date is the same as originally scheduled, but the practice date is a couple weeks later.

Playoff and sweet 16 dates also remain unchanged.

Boys will be march 3rd thourgh the 7th.

The girls will be march 10th through the 14th.
