So you have all that for you ... and will forecasts can ... thank you melissa lujan and gov jacqueline goldman says ... several of the state schools are not reporting over 90 data ... at something all of them should be doing ... .

Which means you may not be getting accurate information ... child ... abc36 is monica harkins show the ... rules interviewing area.

The says are ... not reporting ... says severtal of the states schools...aren't reporting covid-19 data.

That's something..

All of them should be doing.

Which means you may not be getting accurate information from your child's school.

Abc 36's monica harkins shows us which schools in our viewing area the state says aren't reporting.

"i'll find a nat pop" some students are back in the classroom...but that's not the case for dozens of school districts.

Regardless, each school is required by the state to report positive covid-19 cases each weekday.

Those numbers help the state recommend whether it's safe to have students back in class.

"jaqueline coleman: so, for the overwhelming number of you who are working diligently to keep your kids safe and to provide the information that your families need.

Thank you.

" but as lieutenant jacqueline coleman pointed out tuesday during an update on the k-12 coivd-19 dashboard...not every school is reporting its cases.

"that is unacceptable.

And it's irresponsible.

It jeopardizes the health of your students, your school staff, their families and your community.

" coleman says about 200 schools aren't reporting.

I went through each school district in our area....i found four school districts the state says aren't reporting....berea independent school district....bourbon county schools...owsley county schools and roberston county schools.

"typing nat pop" i emailed each superintendent.

I heard back from bourbon county's amy baker.

She says in her district's case...it was a tech issue... "we have kept all of our data in folders while waiting on the problem to be corrected.

We entered data this afternoon and will continue tomorrow.

We are cooperative in following all state and local guidelines that help keep our students and staff members safe.

" to see your school's report...the portal is on the state's main page under k-12 covid-19 dashboard.

"coleman: so as we work to build a better kentucky in the middle of this global health pandemic our education and childcare communities have to be on their game, more than ever, " in lexington, monica harkins, abc 36 news.
