Butte County Public Health says people should remain cautious about more than just Covid-19 during this fall season.

Breaking out of butte county -- the area dropped down to the orange tier for reopening..

The big changes here: bars, breweries and distilleries can open outdoors with modifications..

Offices can return to work.

Plus some businesses that are already open- can now increase capacity.

The county continuing to improve means more and more stores, restaurants and entertainment can reopen or expand their indoor operations.

But i spoke with butte county public health today about the improvement in the state system, they say people should remain cautious about more than just covid-19 come this fall season.

The big thing and some words of caution as we move into a less restrictive tier, we are moving into a higher risk time of year.

This week schools opened for in- person education.

Today the county issued over 300 covid tests.

Almaguer told me the last two weeks there was a decrease in testing.

She says the state testing site optum serve showed this week, 90% of the state is testing at capacity this change in tiers is effective immediately for most businesses.

We're looking at 13 new cases out of butte county -- that's out of 332 total tests for the day.

The region has 3015 total cases... 51 deaths, 2 in the hospital and 53 people in isolation.
