CDC says infection rates for youth sports are on the rise

Matt Esau, executive director for Rochester Sports, says they have had zero positive cases in 31 events this year.

Esau says rochester youth sports have run or assisted in 31 events since the start of 2021 and have had no positive cases.

He credits coaches and young athletes who have dedicated themselves to safely returning to play.
