Lord David Cameron says an ‘immediate pause to fighting’ in Gaza is needed - which could develop into a permanent ceasefire.
The British foreign secretary, who is currently in Qatar, also says he has spoken to Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the need for a two-state solution to bring peace to the region.
