Covid-19 fatality rate declines to 2.72 per cent, recovery rate climbs to 62.42 per cent: Health Ministry

The Covid-19 death rate in 30 states and Union Territories is lower than the national average fatality rate of 2.72%, the health ministry said on Friday underlining an upward trend in recoveries driven by effective clinical management of positive cases.
