(MENAFN - Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Asheikh has said that it is not permissible for coronavirus patients to mix up with others. The Grand Mufti called upon all the people in Saudi Arabia to strictly comply with the precautionary measures and precautionary measures announced by the authorities to stem the spread of coronavirus. According to Saudi Arabian media, the Grand Mufti said corona deaths and infections are increasing in a number of countries due to negligence in adhering to precautionary measures. He said health is a great blessing and therefore all people should strive to preserve their health and refrain from doing things that harm them such as diseases and epidemics. Sheikh Abdul Aziz said Islam has put in place preventive means to protect a person from getting sick, and it made cleanliness half of the faith. He said Islam emphasises the aspect of preventing diseases before they are infected and transmitted to humans. The Grand Mufti said the Saudi government has made great efforts to stem the spread of coronavirus by adopting all the possible ways and means such as wearing facemask, social distancing, avoiding public gatherings and other preventive and precautionary measures. Sheikh Abdul Aziz warned against the non-seriousness on the part of some people in observing precautionary measures which led to rise in daily infection cases, causing heavy pressure on the health system. He appealed to the public to adhere to wearing a facemask while going out and while mixing with other people, and keep social distancing. The Grand Mufti said infected people and those in contact with them should be quarantined. He said it is not permissible for such people to go out and mix with others, and if someone does that, he is committing a great sin as it harms others and infects them with this dangerous disease and it may even lead to the loss of innocent souls. He also urged those who come from outside the Kingdom to stay indoors until after the end of the quarantine period specified by the concerned authorities.MENAFN23042021000189011041ID1101971781
