Windows 10 Will Warn When New Apps Registers to Run at Startup

Microsoft has silently included a new feature in the latest preview build, and it warns the user when a new app registers to run at startup. In other words, if you install an application that adds to the list of programs running when the operating system boots, you should see a toast notification to let you know this happened, with a single click giving you the option to adjust the settings. “[App name] is now configured to run when you log in. To change this later, go to Settings, Apps, Startup,” the notification reads.
