The kibbutz of Nir Oz in southern Israel has been left devastated by a recent attack from Hamas militants. The town, which was once a thriving and green oasis, is now filled with ransacked homes and bullet-riddled cars. The Israeli military has released a manual used by the militants, which includes instructions for taking hostages. Surviving residents plan to return eventually, but the town will never be the same.
