A child in Ontario, under five years old, has succumbed to measles, marking the province's first measles related death in over ten years, as confirmed by Public Health Ontario (PHO). The child, who was not vaccinated against the highly contagious virus, required hospitalisation. Measles, preventable by two vaccine doses, poses a serious risk, especially to young children.
