State reports 300 deaths due to COVID-19, Tippecanoe County cases increase by 2

The Indiana State Department of Health reported Friday 6,907 Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, and 300 have died from the virus.

New numbers released today also show 300 have died from the virus.

On thursday, the state reported 6,351 cases and 245 deaths.

Tippecanoe county's cases went up two from 40 to 42 friday.

New cases were reported in carroll, cass, clinton, fountain, howard, miami, montgomery, newton and tippecanoe counties.

More than 35- thousand people have been tested.
