Berry Creek almost burned to the ground by the Bear Fire.
Reporter Kristian Lopez gives us a look at the damage left behind.
Kristian: a lot of dense and thick smoke in the area and you can just see all of the devastation left behind.
You can see a burned van and house and smoke here along this area.

Nancy:it was ferocious it was a beast.....ive never been close to anything that dangerous before.
Hamilton lives in chico but says the town is close to her heart as many of her friends and family live there.
Nancy:theyve evacuated to our home we've had close to 15 people evacuate to our home cause its safer.
The town now almost completely leveled..... kristian bridge: right here behind me is where once stood the berry creek guild hall but as you can see it was completely consumed by the flames.
Nancy:what do you say to someone who has lost everything.
Sorry is so inadequate there are no words you can say to someone who has lost everything.
Kristian:and again you can just see all of the devastation
