The agenda for the meeting includes only one item, a vote on an emergency rule-- but that vote could allow bars and restaurants like here in downtown huntsville to serve alcohol later.
Last week, the board told waay 31 an emergency meeting would be called to discuss ending the ban on alcohol sales at bars and restarurants past 11pm.
A new rule would likely enforce safety guidelines such as a 50 percent capacity, social distancing and masking.
