Local basketball player leading charge to bring basketball back at UM-Dearborn

Former Canterbury and Churubusco standout basketball player Jalen Paul is helping lead the charge to bring basketball back to UM-Dearborn after the school announced the cancelation of the 2020-21 season.

Hey good evening everyone... well as the rest of the naia continues to roll on with their athletics seasons as of now...the university of michigan-dearborn announced today that they will not be playing any kind of athletics until at least march first 20-21...the university's administration making the announcement today that, among others, the upcoming men's and women's basketball seasons have received the proverbial axe...former canterbury and churubusco basketball standout jalen paul was set to be a senior for the wolverines this year...and he says it hurts to have his senior season ripped away like this..but he's not giving up hope... he and a few other student athletes have begun a petition to try and get their seasons back..
