Iowa senator chuck grassley is weighing in on confirmation of amy coney barrett to the supreme court.
Iowa's senior senator was in mason city on tuesday to campaign for congressional candidate randy feenstra.
Senator grassley spoke extensively about the supreme court.
He says judges are not in the business of making laws and feels justice barrett will uphold the she's a judge who needs to look at the law and the facts of the law and not stretch the law and if there are vacuums or voids as judges sometimes refer to them, then she'd say, let congress fix that.
Grassley also believes if democrats win big in next week's election, they may try to pack the supreme court
