The Verge reports Meta's first hardware retail store will open May 9 in Burlingame, California.
Consumers will be able to test and purchase Meta's Portal videophones and Quest VR headsets.

The glasses, which debuted last year, have built-in cameras that allow the wearer to capture and share media from their perspective.
Quest 2 demos that will be available include 'Beat Saber,' 'GOLF+,' 'Real VR Fishing' and 'Supernatural.'.
A 30-second mixed reality clip will be provided to visitors to take home.
The Verge reports that the 1,550-square-foot store is in close proximity to Meta's Reality Labs headquarters.
It will be open Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m.
To 6:00 p.m.
