Chancellor picks up the bill for PM's bag of sweets

Rishi Sunak and Jeremy Hunt visit Accrington market in Lancashire as the government announce a further £2bn in levelling up funding.

The chancellor joked he would pick up the bill for his boss' bag of sweets from the market.

Speaking earlier on Thursday, the prime minister said that two-thirds of the total £4billion funding will go to northern areas.
