TMC MP Derek O Brien suspended from Rajya Sabha till the end of session for 'gross misconduct'

Rajya Sabha chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar suspended TMC MP Derek O'Brien from upper house till the end of session for his 'gross misconduct'. Dhankhar named O'Brien and asked him to leave the House immediately. The House proceedings were disrupted by slogans raised against the Centre over Parliament's security breach. Dhankhar invited the opposition leader for a meeting to discuss the security breach and a statement by Union home minister Amit Shah as well as his resignation.
