Navy evacuates from hijacked vessel sailor hurt in firing

Indian destroyer INS Kochi evacuates injured Bulgarian sailor from hijacked Malta-flagged bulk carrier MV Ruen, after negotiations with Somali pirates. Sailor has gunshot injury near shoulder and is stable. INS Kolkata also reaches Gulf of Aden, continuing India's deployment in piracy-infested region.
