7/9: Confederate flag to be removed from S.C. capitol grounds; Spacecraft nears Pluto in historic mission

South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley signed a bill that will bring down the Confederate flag from state capitol grounds; and after being launched in 2006 -- and traveling more than 3 billion miles -- the New Horizons spacecraft is nearing Pluto with the goal of capturing close-up images of the dwarf planet.
