While addressing a press conference in Delhi, Union Health Ministry Joint Secretary, Lav Agarwal on May 26 briefed the detail reports of COVID-19 pandemic in the nation.
He said India's fatality rate at 2.87% is one of the lowest in the world.
"A total of 60,490 patients have recovered so far from COVID-19.
Recovery rate continues to improve and presently it is 41.61%," he added.
